We will learn fluorescent imaging of plant material and its peculiarities as well as imaging and quantification of basic plant traits.

We are teaching within this course Methods in Epigenetics including for example Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP) and Bisulfite sequencing. The course take place every year.

AKTUELLEN THEMEN BIOLOGIE: EPIGENETICS

Together with Prof. Nowacki (from IZB), we are presenting a broad overview of epigenetics discussing examples such as epimutants in plants and X inactivation in mammals.

ADVANCED PLANT BIOLOGY: PLANT MOLECULAR BIOLOGY

We are teaching within this course plant small RNA. It includes a practical illustrating systemic sRNA silencing, qPCR, Viral suppressor of RNA silencing and VIrus induced Gene silencing (VIGS).
